Altantuya's Death Is Confirmed

Malaysian analyst to be charged in connection with murder of Mongolian model - Channelnewsasia, 16th Nov 2006

  • Abdul Razak -- whose political connections stretch as high as deputy premier Najib Razak, who is also defence minister -- has been in police custody since being detained last Tuesday.
  • "He will be charged for abetment to murder today (Thursday)," said Abdul Ghani. The crime is punishable by death.
  • A court on Wednesday charged Azilah Hadri, 30, and Sirul Azhar Umar, 35, with the murder of Altantuya.
  • Both men were junior officers of the police tactical unit. If found guilty, they face the death penalty.

Just to keep the readers updated on the progress of Altantuya murder case. Abdul Razak, a chief inspector and a corporal are charged and the female detective released on bail after DNA test confirmed the blown pieces is Altantuya. From Guang Ming Daily, The female detective has now become the witness for prosecution.

Yes I caught a glimpse of the report in the Star.

But, there is even more mind boggling comments from Altantuya's mother that doesn't seem to make sense.

If, Altantuya is not romantically linked to the accused, then what motivated him to take such drastic measure to order her killing??
